Finding Your Why: The Key to Franchise Success

Finding Your Why: The Key to Franchise Success

Why would you want to go and buy a franchise and do something that’s so hard? Well, think about the progress that you’ve had in your career. How many times have you gone through hardship to get to the levels that you are, now that you’ve reached enjoyment?

The Hardships That Lead to Rewards

What I want to talk to you about today is getting clarity on your “why.” When you look at a business and you buy the right franchise, there’s going to be a learning curve where you have to go through that hardship. You have to go from being good at what you’re doing to starting something new, and then getting to competency. But once you get that business up and running, usually around the two-year mark, things get a lot smoother. Now you’ve got the quality of life, the team, the support, and all the different elements of the business so that you’re achieving your financial lifestyle goals. So achieving that is tied to your “why.”

Aligning Your Franchise Choice with Your Purpose

Make sure you know what you want to achieve and what your purpose is through running the business. The very nature of the business is part of that. Do you want to create wealth? Keep in mind that from the two to three-year mark and beyond, you are really starting to be in your stride. This is where your why really comes into play, as it will be sustainable over many years.

How are you going to have fun in the business or through the results of your business? What sense of accomplishment are you going to be getting by building your own business versus building somebody else’s? What about the sense of pride, the sense of accomplishment? What about control?

Achieving Control, Pride, and Wealth Through Business Ownership

These are some of the things I hear people tell me about. They want to have absolute operational control or control over the integration between work and family time. They want to build a team so that they are not running the business all the time, allowing the team to reach the point where they run the business while the owner manages a key group of people and creates a long-term annuity income stream.

There are many different aspects of “why”, but what really matters is which ones are important to YOU. That’s what I help people figure out because the “why” starts the search and really clarifies what your best options are. If you’re serious about looking for answers to your “why”, reach out to me and I can help you figure that out. Book a call now.
